About W.A.C.
Our Story
The WAC remote was born in a basement workshop in Sherwood Park. Our technology began as one-off designs, made to order for unusual jobs that needed the freedom of wireless control. After a remark from a passing site welder, we realized we had something special to offer: “I like the knob on the front! Mine doesn’t have that.”
We combined the simplicity and analog feel of a wired remote with the range, reliability, and precision offered by digital wireless systems. Over the past decade, WAC has slowly grown from a basement side gig into a lasting family business. Three generations have worked to build, refine, and sell our remote systems. We get plenty of feedback, but we still smile when we hear “I like the knob!”
